We will get Dave Emery on soon- I promise! But we had a few shows that we wanted to talk about and decided to make that into a show; admittedly we’re borrowing from Model Rail Radio as we host several guests: Jim Gore, Jim Lincoln, Mike Slater, and Ron Klaiss! Hope you enjoy our banter!
And we’re back! Craig makes his triumphal return to the MRCS with exciting new software in hand that can revolutionize the way you’re running your model railroad. Also For out Branchline Dustin Fisher of “Operation Christmas Train” Joins us to talk about his exciting new organization that reaches out to kids in need of a classic and fun Christmas.
In this show 211, which was spun off from the planned 211 because of size, we get to talk to Seth Neumann as he answers our questions about how to have a successful op session; I’ll have some links to post ASAP. Seth talks to us about the upcoming NMRA and as a former OPSIG director is uniquely qualified to talk about ops with us.
Then we lighten up and settle into a lively, fun, and enlightening conversation with and about the smash hit podcast “A Modelers Life” as we are joined by its triumvirate of hosts: Lionel Strang, Jim Rindt, and Bruce Wilson. I thought I’d interview them and they also ended up interviewing me. In the end it demonstrates what the AML network is about as you find out some things about us that you might not have known before.

Just as we were about to release this show the tragedy of Amtrak 188 occurred; as it didn’t seem right to proceed as normal, we wanted to acknowledge this event and discuss the threadbare details- even though at this time much remains to be determined. In any case I was able to quickly grab Jim Lincoln on the fly and get his thoughts on the matter and related issues. Our thoughts, prayers, and well wishes go out to all. I will update the notes asap.
In the main part of our show we are joined by Ramon Rhodes as he goes into all out story mode, giving us a vibrant view of his childhood and trains both model and prototype. In the middle is a branchline with Ramon where we shoot the breeze a little and talk about Ramon’s ideal layout.
